But what often gets missed is that…
Burnout isn’t always about…
the number of hours we work,
the amount of pressure,
or the stress we’re under.
It’s also about — the kind of work we do.
Does it align with our personal values, goals, and aspirations?
It’s about — the people around us.
Are we supported?
Are we empowered to grow?
Or do we feel drained?
It’s about — our agency over our personal resources.
Does our schedule leave space to actually do the work?
Does it leave space to work and to breathe?
Because when we…
Feel unsupported,
Spend our days moving from one meeting to the next,
Often skip or rush through lunch,
And then run to catch a train home…
That’s not just a workday anymore…
that’s survival mode.
It’s a slow depletion of…
Your energy,
Your passion,
You.
And the truth is…
You can’t expect your body to keep running on empty forever.
Maybe it has.
Maybe you have been pushing through.
But the body always catches up.
So catch it…
Before you burn out completely.
Our wellbeing is not a “nice to have.”
It’s the foundation of our lives.
Our being.
The reason we’re still here.
