The Slippery Slope of Multitasking
I’ve always prided myself on being so productive, efficient… multitasking…
And I know…many others do too.
And, it’s not wrong to feel that way.
Why?
Because…
The hustle culture,
the constant reward of productivity,
and the focus on results, targets, and outcomes…
these not only drive sales and profit,
but also determine how your performance is evaluated.
But, humans are humans for a reason…
We’re not machines,
We’re not designed to do multiple things over a long time…
without it taking a toll on our health and well-being.
And we see that all the time…
Not on LinkedIn feeds…
but behind the screens.
Having experienced burnout (more than once) through my own experience
…each time, my health paid the price.
